VILLAGES AND TOWNS
The campsite itself is situated on a small country road connecting two villages - Eyburie (3 km) and Condat sur Ganavei (2 km) both a walk / cycle ride away. Here you will find all the basic amenities including: grocery shop, bakery, bar, tennis court, post office, service station and hairdresser.
Just 7 km's away is Uzerche a fortified town overlooking the Vezere river and overflowing with vaulted paths, old houses and masterpieces of Romanesque art. Affectionately known as 'The Pearl of the Limousin', this picturesque town justifies the popular saying 'he who has a house in Uzerche, owns a castle in the Limousin'. You will find everything here you would expect in a larger town including supermarkets, shops, cinema, bars, restaurants, tourist office and a train station.
Slightly further afield are the towns of Brive, Tulle, Pompadour, Segur-le-Chateau and Limoges - all definitely worth a visit.
If you are looking for a full day sightseeing, then Oradour-sur-Glane, Rocamadour or the Caves at Padirac all come highly recommended.
